Typically, most wedding receptions require two distinctly different bands---starting with a quiet ensemble playing background music allowing guests time to mingle & to reminisce with the bride & groom. The quiet music continues through dinner or hors d'oeuvres, but at a certain point the "other band" needs to kick the party into gear. With high-energy dance music, along with other special numbers, this band is instrumental in replacing the stress of all the preparations and planning with a great time.
