The
Pictures from Austin, TX have established themselves as the
best party band in the southwest. Not only are The Pictures
known as the best rock band around, they cover all types of music,
including standards such as favorites performed by Harry Connick,
Jr., Big Band & Hip 'retro/jump swing', 50's/60's, 70's Disco,
R&B/Motown, Soul, Classics/Alternative Rock, Country-western,
80's/Retro, 90's/Dance/Urban and Wedding/Specialty songs including
Jewish Music.
This Coors
Light sponsored band does more than just play music. The Pictures
have appeared in the movie "Dream Date" and have appeared
on national TV in the Coors Light Beer commercials. On top of
that, The Pictures have toured and shared the stage with a wide
variety of national touring groups ranging from Expose' to Diamond
Rio.
 In
January of 2001, The Pictures played the Bush-Cheney Inaugural
Ball in Washington, DC.
To
better accommodate the changing tastes of the private party scene,
The Pictures have added to the original combo/group instrumentation
featured female and male vocalists. Each of the singers are show
stoppers on their own and together they offer a combination of
available songs that can't be topped. The Pictures now
appear with the addition of a horn section. When the horns kick
in for the 70's and 80's rock and disco as well as the big band
and hip 'retro/jump swing' selections, the dance floor fills to
overflowing. The Pictures have invested in a state of the
art intelligent light system that features computer controlled
concert quality lighting effects. In conjunction with the sound
system the band owns and operates, the production value of The
Pictures' shows is second to none in the Texas market. The
Pictures break the old show business saying, The Pictures
never leave the guests wanting more
