Slime and the Ice Machine is based in hot and humid Houston, Texas and has been actively performing as a group since 1996. Initially formed by a group of friends and co-workers seeking a musical outlet for their talents, word quickly got out and the band began to play private parties and local bars and clubs. Today the band plays regularly throughout Houston and surrounding areas.
