The Supreme
Court Decision band takes pride in its versatility, playing
Top 40, Oldies, Big Band, and Country Western music
with equal effectiveness. Inappropriate volume level is never
a problem with these musicians who understand that there are times
when a band should "lay back," as well as occasions when the party
is ready for the band to "take charge." Their modular sound system
and fine lighting setup are suitable for large ballrooms as well
as intimate meeting rooms. This group can also provide popular
background or "DJ" music on CD during breaks or before playing
hours. They have always enjoyed excellent professional relationships
with club and ballroom managers, hosts, and entertainment directors.
They wear matching black tuxedos on request.
Supreme
Court Decision toured the nation for three years, playing
many of the top motel and restaurant chains. The group achieved
regional success with the hit single, "Better Not Stay." Desiring
a permanent base of operation, the musicians settled in Houston
and have played and recorded in the East Texas area, both as the
feature attraction and as a backup band for national artists.
The band showcases
the exceptional singing of Sharon Reynolds, who brings
a wide range of vocal styles to the stage. James Patterson
plays the electric bass and harmonica and sings lead and harmony
vocals. He is a former member of the CAVALIERS, the group that
had several nation-wide hits including "Last Kiss." Carroll
Brown and Russ Reynolds add the drums, guitar, and
more lead and harmony vocals. They have many years of musical
experience between them, much of it with successful Houston-area
bands. The latest additions to the ensemble are saxophonist Mike
Loftin and keyboardist Joe Young, both noted for instrumental
expertise.
For talent,
reliability, and versatility, let the final word be SUPREME
COURT DECISION.
