Choosing your Band, DJ, or other music for your reception will be an important decision based on your personal taste and also your Budget.

Most bands, instrumentalists, vocalists and DJs have promotional material for you to review before you hire them. An information packet is the core of these materials and should contain the musician’s bio, photograph, equipment list, references and past performances, example song selections, etc. Most all bands, instrumentalists and vocalists will also have a demo tape and/or video.. After you have reviewed several promotional packages and narrowed down your entertainment choices, you may want to see one or two of these acts in action. Your entertainment company can arrange this for you. If you have any concerns about the act, be sure to bring these up with your entertainment agent before you sign a contract.
